Chris Monsos (creator, editor) writes software and edits blogs from Seattle Washington, where he's lived his whole life. Chris lives in West Seattle with his partner Doug, whom he met in May 2001 -- the day after Chris began blogging.
Chris currently writes software for a local firm that specializes in the shipping industry. He speaks ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, SQL, and a bit of PHP. He's dabbling in Facebook app development, and is constantly tinkering with and creating software to augment his blogs.
Chris is the Editor and Lead Hunkologist at Hunk du Jour, a wildly popular blog providing some celebrity eyecandy on a site that is "safe for mom to run across." He has had the incredible opportunity to interview some really amazing men, and is proud to see so many people greet the site as a welcome change from the status quo.
Previously Chris owned his own Web Development and Hosting company, stage managed and worked as backstage crew for local theaters, stayed up late as a casino dealer, served coffee at fantastic coffeehouses, unloaded freight in the early morning, and filled reservations at one of the most sought-after restaurants in the Puget Sound.
Chris' Mom, Dad, Sister, and extended family all live in the Greater Seattle area. The love and support from Chris' family, friends, and Doug are what keep him going every day.
